    Plamen EU Plamen, a Bulgaria-born political analyst, is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Athens. He has specialised in international affairs, and holds an M.A. degree in European Institutions and Diplomacy from the University of Athens. Plamen has worked as a correspondent and a reporter, as well as an international relations advisor. Until recently, he was the coordinator of the Centre for Japanese and Asian Studies of the Greek Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). His academic interests lie in the area of political science and socio-economic development, at the interface of politics and economy.
